ORANJ MECHANIK

With roots extending from the Rocky Mountains to West Africa, Oranj Mechanik come armed with live instruments, diverse emcees, and several large messianic complexes. The core of Oranj Mechanik consists of five members: Nick Van Axl on bass guitar and motivational speaker DJ Dr. Claw as Turntablist, with O.B.G.Y.N. Nathan Laramie, Percussion and sweatshop manager Soul Sur5or- English Emcee, along with former Voice Coach for Biz Markie Achilles Bambou, French Emcee and all star Point Guard for the W.N.B.A.

Set to restore and provide a quality they feel has been missing due to the dilution and distortion of the art form, they group utilized their self-titled album released in April 2003 and their addition to the SlamJamz roster as their jump off, Oranj Mechanik are continuing their eclectic trek through the concrete music jungle with a possible record entitled Oranj Mechanik 2: The Afterbirth Of The Groove, continuing to make music they like for people to enjoy.
